skai administration – AI knowledge management for public administration
In administrations, knowledge is often scattered: on drives, in mailboxes, on the intranet, and in specialized applications. skai administration brings these sources together in one place and makes them searchable via AI
Fach departments find information faster. Through a chatbot on the website, citizens receive information from the same verified content.
Functions at a glance
- Semantic search: Information is found by meaning, not just by keywords. This also works when the question is formulated differently than the document.
- Central knowledge base: Files, websites, Confluence, OneDrive, and SharePoint can be connected. Existing systems remain in place.
- Answers with source reference: Each answer can be traced back to the underlying document.
- Chatbot for citizen communication: On the website, the chatbot answers inquiries. It uses only the released content on request and thus relieves the citizen service of
routine questions. - Multilingual: The chatbot responds in the language of the person inquiring.
- Form-free data collection: The chatbot asks for required information step by step in the conversation, instead of providing rigid form fields.
- Meeting Notes: Meetings and sessions are structured and recorded, with decisions, tasks, and open points.
- Roles and access rights: Knowledge areas can be specifically released. Internal and public content are separate. Departments maintain their content themselves.
Operation and data protection
skai administration processes data in accordance with the DSGVO and can be operated in two ways. In the cloud, it runs in German data centers from IONOS. These are certified according to ISO 27001 based on
IT-Grundschutz and tested according to BSI C5. Alternatively, it runs on-premises in the administration's own infrastructure. In both cases, the product and functions are the same.
