TeamDrive develops and operates a secure cloud collaboration platform as a SaaS service for business customers, meeting the highest compliance requirements for confidentiality and security. The modular system can also be hosted on the company's own servers in the cloud or on-premise.
TeamDrive distinguishes itself from other services through its particular focus on data protection and data security. Data is encrypted end-to-end, meaning it is already encrypted on the user's device before being transmitted. The keys remain with the user and are securely managed and exchanged.

TeamDrive is based on a zero-knowledge cloud, which means that only highly encrypted data is stored in the cloud, and only the user themselves knows who exchanges which data with whom. No metadata, folder names, etc. are stored unencrypted in the cloud.
Within a data room, there is complete transparency. Through transaction logs that store a complete history and the immutable backup of data in S3, many compliance requirements can be met. For example, compliance with GoBD-compliant archiving for financial data or audit-proof documentation of read confirmations for security notices, and much more.
TeamDrive is a German company with a focus on security in the cloud (privacy by design). The servers are located in Germany at IONOS. The TeamDrive solution has been offered since 2008 and is continuously developed further and adapted to market requirements.
